Help please! Volume problem!

Hey all, I have no idea what happened... I went on yahoo messenger, entered on a contact to say hi, and my volume dropped dramaticly. Could someone give me some direction to fix this? What are the recommended settings under all those volume options? I'm clueless, and my laptop use to be a lot louder! Thank you, I appreciate it!

Hi.
The two important volumes you will have to tern up is the main volume control which has got the mute all checkbox next to the volume, and the wave volume as well from the volume control.
A good programme you might find useful is called quick mix which saves your volume control settings and you can load them with a shortcut.
It used to be in the jfw lite website but now this website stopped working but if you try with google i am sure you can find it easily.

Thank you, I appreciate it. When I messed with the volume control, it doesn't to seem to want to stay put. Once, I moved the wave volume, the other one moved. Aw'well, either way it is louder now. Phew.
